Airport Links and Local Transportation
Here are some useful links and information for getting from the airport to the hotel:
- Airport: Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport (OTP)
- Public Transport: Information on buses and trains from the airport to the hotel.
- Ride sharing services: Blue Romania, Uber, Bolt.
- Transportation Apps: We suggest using Google Maps in order to navigate the city. Bucharest’s public transportation system includes buses, trams, and the metro, all of which accept card payments directly.
- Important: If the participant has a disability that requires special transport and/or a permanent assistant, the organizer will provide free local transport for the duration of participation in the Competition. The participant must make this information and supporting documents available to the organizer after entering the Competition, but no later than 30 June 2024.

George Enescu Hall – National University of Music Bucharest

- Description: The first and second rounds of the Enescu Competition will be held at this location, where you will also find the rehearsal rooms.

Romanian Athenaeum – George Enescu Philharmonic

- Description: The semifinals and final rounds, as well as the recitals and the conducting and performing masterclass, will be held at this location.

FAQ
- Currency and Payment Methods: Most shops accept card payments. For cash payments, please use only Romanian Leu (RON).
- Weather: During the competition period, Bucharest typically experiences hot and sunny weather, with daytime temperatures ranging from 30-36 degrees Celsius and nighttime temperatures between 20-25 degrees Celsius. We recommend wearing sunscreen and staying hydrated.
