Victor Andrei Părău

Victor Andrei Părău is a collaborator pianist, teacher at the Ion Vidu Art High School in Timișoara and associate professor at the Faculty of Music and Theater of the West University of Timișoara, where he previously completed his studies in the class of professor Mária Bodó.
Among her most notable professional collaborations are those with the George Enescu Philharmonic Choir in Bucharest for the George Enescu International Festival, 2021 edition, the Banatul Philharmonic and conductor Gabriel Bebeșelea for the Gurre-Lieder project in 2023, the National Chamber Choir Madrigal – Marin Constantin in 2022, as well as at the Eufonia Festival (2020-2024) or with the Romanian Chamber Orchestra (2017-2019).
He maintains an intense and uninterrupted activity with various chamber ensembles during the Tuesday evening season at the Romanian Athenaeum and in festivals in Romania (International Week of New Music, Timișoara Muzicală Festival, Meridian International Festival, Intrada / Remus Georgescu New Music Festival) as well as in Serbia, Hungary, Italy, Germany, Belgium. He was a piano accompanist at the Lions International Music Performance Competition, the Remember Enescu International Competition, the International Competition for Violin in Kloster Schöntal, and the Leonid Kogan International Competition for Young Violinists in Brussels.
He has accompanied many young musicians during masterclasses held by János Bálint, Pablo Barragán, Ladislau Csendes, Suyeon Kang, Octavian Lup, Sarah Nemțanu, Nurit Stark, Alexandru Tomescu, Marko Zupan.
Victor Andrei Părău is also a passionate promoter of modern and contemporary music, performing with the Atem Ensemble from Timișoara, founded in 2013.
