Ziyang Zhao

Ziyang Zhao was born in December 2008. She is currently studying at the Music Middle School affiliated to the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, where she is studying with Professors Jiwu Li and Jian Wang. She also studies chamber music with Professors Yinjia Yu and Hancheng Lan.
She has won prizes in competitions such as Danubia Talents International Online Music Competition, Radda Rise International String Competition, Swiss International Music Competition, Gustav Mahler Prize Cello Competition, International Instrumental Competition Markneukirchen, Piła Festival & Academy, ArsClassica International Junior Competition.
In July 2023 she made her debut with the Nanning Symphony Orchestra conducted by Jinyi Jiang. In November 2023, she played Johannes Brahms’ Double Concerto in A Minor Op. 102 with the Shanxi Symphony Orchestra.
