Jiwon Yang

Since her debut in Seoul in 2012, Jiwon Yang has won numerous awards, including 3rd prize at the 2019 Cliburn International Junior Piano Competition and 3rd prize at the 2018 Cleveland International Piano Competition for Young Artists. She has performed extensively around the world, including Korea, the Philippines, Russia and the United States. Jiwon Yang has performed worldwide with orchestras such as the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and Camerata New York Orchestra. Notable venues include the Weill Recital Hall, Steinway Hall in New York City, the Cultural Center of the Philippines, and the Lewisville Grand Theater in Texas. She has been invited to give recitals at several New York clubs, including The Frick Collection, Penn Club of New York, University Club, New York Yacht Club and American Yacht Club. She has also participated in masterclasses with renowned pianists. Currently, she is studying abroad at the Mannes School of Music, where she is a student of Richard Goode and Pavlina Dokovska. In Korea she studied with Hyoung-Joon Chang.
