Daniel Kogan

A laureate of international competitions, Daniel Kogan was born into a family of famous musicians. Grandson of the great violinists Leonid Kogan and Elizaveta Gilels, nephew of the famous conductor Pavel Kogan, he began studying violin at the age of 6 with Marina Keselman. In 2011 he graduated with honours from the Central School of Music of the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory and entered the Conservatory (class of Professor Maya Glezarova), where he began teaching in 2020.
Since 2016 he has studied with Boris Belkin and Irina Svetlova, and since 2022 with Eduard Wulfson. Daniel Kogan gives many concerts in Russia and abroad, performing in many famous venues and with many renowned musicians.
