Francesco Papa

Francesco Papa attends the Conservatorio Statale di Musica Santa Cecilia in Rome and the annual course of Silvia Marcovici at the Accademia Perosi di Biella.
At a very young age, he held the role of concertmaster in the Juniorchestra of the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome and obtained a scholarship (in 2019), ranking first in the merit order of the entire orchestra.
In September 2022, he was unanimously awarded the prestigious Maura Giorgetti scholarship, offered by the Filarmonica del Teatro alla Scala in Milan to support the musical training of young talented instrumentalists. In July 2023 he also won a scholarship to the Internationale Sommerakademie at the Universität Mozarteum in Salzburg.
As a soloist he has given numerous concerts in Italy and abroad. Recently he performed with the Orchestra della Toscana and with the Paul Constantinescu Philharmonic of Ploiești, conducted by Cristian Spătaru.
In February 2024 he was chosen by the Conservatorio Statale di Musica Santa Cecilia to play as soloist in the evening in memory of Felix Ayo, and in May 2024 he performed at the Salle multiculturelle de Técou in France.
