Margaryta Pochebut was born in Kharkiv, Ukraine. Her musical journey began at the age of 6, when she entered a school for talented children in Kyiv in 2016. Currently, she is studying at the Kyiv Lysenko State Music Lyceum and at the International Menuhin Music Academy in Switzerland. In 2016 she made her debut as a soloist with orchestra and participated in the Mischa Elman International Violin Competition, where she won the Grand Prix. During her active musical career Margaryta Pochebut has performed in renowned concert halls in Ukraine, Italy, France, Croatia, Switzerland, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovakia.
She is a laureate of more than ten prestigious international competitions, including Ysaÿe Junior International Music Competition, Astana Violin Competition, Il Piccolo Violino Magico International Competition for Young Violinists, International Louis Spohr Violin Competition for Young Violinists, Concertino Praga.
In addition, she performs chamber music with her sister, pianist Yelizaveta Pochebut. Margaryta Pochebut plays a fine violin by Lorenzo Storioni, made in Cremona in 1784, generously loaned by the Stretton Society.
