A graduate of the Korea National University of Arts, Geunyup Lee studied with Kangho Lee and Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi. He went on to study with Troels Svane at the Musikhochschule Lübeck in Germany, graduating with highest grades. Geunyup Lee is currently a postgraduate student at the Robert Schumann Hochschule Düsseldorf, studying with Pieter Wispelwey.
