Born in 2003, Ettore Pagano began studying the cello at the age of 9. He is a former student of Antonio Meneses at the Walter Stauffer Academy, David Geringas at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana and Enrico Dindo at the Pavia Cello Academy. Since 2013 he has won several competitions in Italy and abroad (the Khachaturian International Competition in Yerevan and the International Johannes Brahms Competition). He also won the 1st prize at the Young Musicians Competition promoted by the Filarmonica della Scala (2019) and at the Bundeswettbewerb Jugend musiziert and received a scholarship from the New York International Artist Association, with relative prize concert at Carnegie Hall. He has been invited to give recitals at important international events in Germany, Austria, Greece and the USA and has performed as a soloist with the Croatian Radiotelevision Symphony Orchestra, the Graz Philharmoniker, the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI and the Euro Symphony Orchestra. In 2022 he released his first CD for the magazine Suonare News.
