Sho Nishida

Sho Nishida was born in 2004 and began playing the cello at the age of 5. In 2012, he won the Grand Prix in the cello section of the 22nd Japan Classical Music Competition. Sho Nishida was the first cellist to perform as a soloist with an orchestra at the Gala Concert at the age of 8. Since then, he has won 1st prize in many cello competitions in Japan.
He gave his first recital at the age of 14, and since then, Sho Nishida has performed in many concerts in various places in Japan. In 2018, he performed as a soloist with the Philharmonia Orchestra of the Tokyo University of Arts and in 2021 and 2022 with the Tokyo Philharmonia Orchestra. Sho Nishida is currently studying cello with Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi.
