Yeeun Kim was born in Korea and started playing the piano at the age of 4. She continued her artistic career at Seoul Arts High School with Professor Ji-Hyun Cho. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in piano performance at Seoul National University with Professor Jong Hwa Park. She enrolled in the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover for a Master’s degree with Gerrit Zitterbart and Igor Tchetuev, and graduated from the same institution pursuing a Soloklasse (Konzertexamen) in 2023. She has won numerous competitions, including the Don Vincenzo Vitti International Music Competition and the Ibiza International Piano Competition. She has also performed piano concertos with the Orchester Göttinger Musikfreunde e.V. and the Gunsan Philharmonic Orchestra. Yeeun Kim’s solo performance experience includes several solo recitals in Hannover, Göttingen, Magdeburg in Germany, Ibiza in Spain and Seoul in Korea. She is also interested in chamber music and has performed in various ensembles including piano trio, quartet and duo.
