Based in London, British-Chinese pianist Noah Zhou began his musical journey at the age of 5. He has since completed his Bachelor’s degree at the Royal Academy of Music, where he was awarded the Sir Elton John Scholarship. He is currently studying for his Master’s degree at the same institution with the Emeritus Head of Keyboard, Christopher Elton. He is also generously supported by the Hattori Foundation.
Noah Zhou has received a number of awards, most notably 2nd prize at the YPF European Piano Competition (2022) and the Royal Philharmonic Society of Great Britain’s Duet Prize for Best Young Instrumentalist (2018). He has also won 1st prize at the Valsesia Musica International Competition (2021) and the Euregio Piano Award (2021). Noah Zhou has also won prizes at the Rio International Piano Competition (2022), the International Competition for Young Pianists in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz (2019) and the Campillos International Piano Competition (2021).
