Seung-Hyun Kang

Born in South Korea on 28 May 1998, violinist Seung-Hyun Kang embarked on her musical journey at Yewon Arts School and continued her studies at prestigious institutions such as Seoul Arts High School and Seoul National University. Her pursuit of excellence led her to the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 2022 and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree.
Under the guidance of esteemed professors such as Stephan Picard, Yoon Jung Ro and Sunny Lee, Seung-Hyun honed her violin artistry, earning accolades such as 1st prize at the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra Competition (2014), 3rd prize at the Virtuoso & Belcanto Festival Competition (2019) or 1st prize at the International Mozart Competition Vienna (2024).
Her concert career includes collaborations with notable ensembles such as the Incheon Catholic Chamber Orchestra and the Incheon Philharmonic Orchestra. Seung-Hyun Kang has graced international stages, performing at renowned venues such as the Teatro del Giglio in Italy, the Musikverein in Vienna and the Victoria Hall in Geneva.
