Yoichiro Ueno was born into a family of musicians in Kyoto in 2002. He began playing the piano and violin at the age of 4 and continued his violin studies with Masaaki Tanokura at the Horikawa Senior High School of Music and with Asuka Sezaki. During this period, he also received occasional lessons from Gérard Poulet.
He has attended masterclasses with Paul Roczek and Michael Vaiman in Salzburg, Régis Pasquier in Kyoto and Cho-Liang Lin in Sendai.
Currently, he attends the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris as a regular third-year student of Svetlin Roussev and Pierre Colombet.
Since 2015, he has given numerous recitals and chamber music concerts in Kyoto, Osaka, Gifu, Tokyo, Bangkok and Paris.
He is currently an academician of the Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France and will participate in the Orchestre de Paris Studio Academy 2024-2025.
