Hyun Seo Kim

Hyun Seo Kim, born in 2010, began playing the violin at the age of 4 and quickly gained recognition in the Korean classical music scene. At the age of 9, she entered the Korea National Institute for the Gifted in Arts under the guidance of Professor Nam Yun Kim, a prominent figure in Korean violin education.
She has won numerous prizes in Korean competitions and has successfully performed in solo recitals, collaborations, chamber music concerts and more, showcasing her limitless passion and musical sensitivity.
Continuing her education at the Korea National Institute for the Gifted in the Arts since 2019, Hyun Seo Kim has received the Director’s Award consecutively from 2021 to 2023. She will enroll in the violin Bachelor’s programme at the Korea National University of Arts in 2025 and looks forward to participating in international competitions to showcase her musical talent and vision.
