Seohyun Kang

South Korean cellist Seohyun Kang was born in 2002 and began playing the cello at the age of 5. Since the age of 7, she has won numerous prizes in international and national competitions.
Seohyun Kang has also won prizes at the France Music Competition, the Gustav Mahler Prize Cello Competition, the TBC (Taegu Broadcasting Company) Music Competition, the Yewon Competition, the Eumyoun Competition, the KCO (Korean Chamber Orchestra) Competition, the Sung-Jung National Music Contest, the Ujung Competition and the Strad Competition of Korea.
She is currently studying at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin with Professor Stephan Forck.
