Serafym Ivanov

In 2018, Serafym Ivanov graduated with honours as a pianist, composer and conductor of a chamber orchestra. He went on to study at the Odessa National Music Academy with Alexey Botvinov. In 2021, he performed the premiere of Airat Ichmouratov’s Concerto with the Brussels Chamber Orchestra in Odessa, as part of the 7th Odessa Classics International Music Festival. In March 2022 Serafym Ivanov moved to Germany, where he became a master student at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hamburg, studying piano with Professor Hubert Rutkowski. In July 2023 he won the 3rd prize at the International Chopin Piano Competition. Serafym Ivanov gives concerts in Germany, France and Belgium. He often performs his own compositions.
