Chan Yeon Jung

Chan Yeon Jung began his piano studies at the age of 7 and went on to study at the Sunhwa Arts Middle School, the premier arts school in South Korea. After graduating, he continued his studies at Sunhwa Arts High School.
In 2019, Chan Yeon Jung won a special prize at the Piano Campus International Competition in France. He also won the Ewha Kyunghyang Music Competition, the JoongAng Music Competition and the Korean Chopin Competition. In the same year, he entered Seoul National University, where he gave many recitals organised by the Kumho Asiana Cultural Foundation (the most competitive event in South Korea).
In 2022, he won 1st prize at the 49th JoongAng Music Competition and 1st prize at the Korean Liszt Piano Competition. Chan Yeon Jung also participated in the Tel-Hai International Piano Master Classes in Israel in 2022. He is currently graduating with a Bachelor’s degree from Professor Aviram Reichert.
