Born in 1999 Seunghui Kim started to study piano at the age of 6. After a few years, she moved to Seoul to keep studying the piano with Choong-Mo Kang and Sook Ryeon Park. She finished her Bachelor’s degree with Aviram Reichert at Seoul National University. Seunghui Kim is a 1st prize winner of Hong Kong International Piano Open Competition, Karol Szymanowski International Music Competition and Svetislav Stančić International Piano Competition. As a soloist, she has performed with numerous orchestras including Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice. She has also attended several masterclasses with Ian Hobson, Oxana Yablonskaya, Aquiles Delle Vigne, Hortense Cartier-Bresson and Jan Michiels. Currently, she is based in Berlin where she studies under the tutelage of Björn Lehmann at Universität der Künste Berlin.
