Jeongmin An

SOUTH KOREA

A graduate of the Korea National University of Arts, violinist Jeongmin An began her musical journey at Yewon School, Seoul Arts High School and the Korea National Institute for the Gifted in Arts. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree at the Yale School of Music under the tutelage of Tai Murray.
Debuting with the Suwon Philharmonic Orchestra at the age of 10, she has won top prizes in numerous Korean competitions, including the Shinhan Music Awards and 3rd prize at the JoongAng Music Concours. It was through the Kumho Young Artists Concert that she took her first steps as a performer. She has gained a lot of performance experience in Korea through concerts such as the Dreaming Noon Concert, KNUA Violin Series Solo Concert and International Art Hall Solo Concert.
