Jordan Brooks

South African violinist Jordan Brooks is currently in his second year at the Royal College of Music, studying with Radu Blidar. He graduated from the prestigious Chetham’s School of Music in Manchester after two years. Described as having a “joyful lyricism that is a delight to listen to”, Jordan Brooks is studying with a full scholarship supported by ABRSM. Playing on a Claude Pirot, he has performed internationally at prestigious venues in South Africa and Europe. Recent achievements include winning the prize for best Chinese work at the Zhuhai International Mozart Competition for Young Musicians in September 2023. In February 2024, he was the overall winner of the Royal Over-Seas League Annual Music Competition in London.
