Hiu Sing Fan

Winner of the New York International Artists Association Violin Competition, the Verão Clássico Festival and the Adelphi Chamber Orchestra Concerto Competition, violinist Hiu Sing Fan has established himself as one of the outstanding young rising stars on the international concert stage. He began his musical journey at the age of 4 and was selected as a recipient of the Cordelia Lee Beattie Foundation and the Betty and Daniel Bloomfield Fund Scholarship at The Juilliard School. Under the tutelage of Hyo Kang and I-Hao Lee, he earned his Bachelor’s degree before continuing his studies at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich. There he honed his craft under the guidance of Julia Fischer, Christoph Poppen, Lena Neudauer and Veronika Eberle. As a recipient of the Eckstein Scholarship, he is currently pursuing his Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA) degree under the mentorship of Gerardo Ribeiro at Northwestern University’s Bienen School of Music.
