Kristina Georgieva

Kristina Georgieva was born in 2001 in Sofia, Bulgaria. She performed as a soloist with many orchestras from an early age. Recent highlights include performances with the Belgian National Orchestra and conductor Maxim Vengerov, the Ariège Chamber Orchestra in France and the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra in Bulgaria.
She participated in the chamber music festival Musica Mundi, where she met Professor Leonid Kerbel, with whom she worked for almost 10 years. Kristina Georgieva has a vast chamber music experience, having performed with artists such as Mischa Maisky, Maxim Vengerov, Ivry Gitlis, Emmanuel Pahud, Jacques Rouvier among others.
After winning her first competition at the age of 7, Kristina Georgieva went on to win over 15 competitions in countries such as Italy, France, Germany, Russia and others.
Kristina Georgieva is currently studying for her Bachelor’s degree at the Barenboim-Said Akademie with Professor Mihaela Martin.
